After upgrading my 1197cx SI (manufactured in 2010/09/10) to the new 5.320 version of the screen freezes down imaging.

Defect occurs in MODE SIMULATOR
Down Sensitivity AUTO
Screen 100% Down Imaging

I checked the error only occurs with Down Sensitivity AUTOMATIC.

Returned to previous version (4.950) and it works perfectly Down Imaging.

I’ve sent a message for Engineering to look into this as one of the Techs here loaded a 1197 unit with the same software and it would not do this…

Greg, for units built in 2009 and in 2010...could there be internal cpu or bios code that is different between the years. If so does your staff test out the items using different units/codes???

That is a good question... We don't typically change the bios code in our units or to my knowledge we don't.  When we test with something it is typically using the latest configuration being produced off the line.

OK, now that we have hijacked this thread we can get back this problem. I would suppose that we include in our questions the year of mfg.  Could be a clue. Iwill call you about the test done at your place..
