Suggested Upgrade: | Sonar and DI Speed Adjustment using GPS Speed |
Explanation: | Since it generally is best to match your sonar, DI, SI speeds with the speed of your boat when idling and marking structure and fish, I do so; however, when going on plane and shooting thru the hull, to ensure you still get depth readings, you manually have to increase the speed. Why not have the option to increase the sonar/di speeds to max once your GPS reads a configured speed? Very similar to the zoom out on the chart feature once you hit a certain speed. This would be very helpful, mostly to ensure once you get off plane and continue to search, that you don't forget your sonar/di speed needs to be lowered. |
