1) is it worth archiving raw data that is on the card after recording session prior to processing and saving as a map?
2). Can the raw data be deleted from the card after it is processed and saved onto the map?

wallin ,
1 you should always back up your data....computers/hard drives fail or if you get different software you will have the data saved.
...I would back it up after processing as well then you have both in case of a disaster.
2 yes if you do a search in the auto charts forum
.....it says what files you can delete recordings...but dont delete lakemaster files on your zerolines card or it will be useless.
These files are critical to the process for creating maps. Do not delete the LkMaster folder from your ZeroLine Map Card. There is a $19.95 fee to cover shipping, handling and maintenance to rewrite these files in the event of user error.
at some point you may have to make room as zerolines cards will eventually fill up
