Title: Bad luck

well i spent 2days outside in 30 degree weather hooking up my brand new 798ci hd si. i had just leveled up tranducer when i went to snap tranducer down and  the darn thing snapped in two at the left slotted hole. looks like i wont be taking the boat out for awhile. have any of you had this issue with the tranducer mount.

check the search box.  Several have reported brakeage of the tab. some of this is due to excessive pressure on the bolt and other......well who knows. 
check some of the search results as some have been able to epoxy the tab back on..

The below freezing temperature on the plastic
probably helped contribute to the break.

yeah the temp maybe had something to do with it. well ill get another and try again.Hopefully with better luck. :-[
