Title: My first sonar recordings and snapshots
Post by: fisherdee on April 15, 2014, 06:51:24 PM
First time using humviewer.  Still having a problem  trying to figure out how to get the waypoints from humviewer to a file I can use on my 1198 unit.  Learning curve is pretty steep to get the best images.

Transition change on the bottom.  You can see the fish just off the bottom on the side image.  Many times there sonar shadow is what gives them away.

Structure on the right side of side image at 85' +.  appears to be rocks.  Fish are present.

Tree visible in 15' of water on both the down image on left and the side image.

Structure and fish on the side image.   about 82' to right of boat

Looking good.  right click on 2D and DI screen, adjust your upper and lower limit to take away some of the unneeded display and you will see better detail.

I mark my way points then pull up the Google earth map.  I go into my places and save the waypoints with new names.  You can then use HBPC to copy these new waypoint and transfer them to your unit.  Good luck and hope to see more shots in the future.
