Autochart Out of memory error
« on: August 26, 2014, 07:39:27 PM »
Have any of you using autochart got an "out of memory" when trying to load SI data? I have a 3 hour recording. 2d loads and maps fine. But when I try to load si data. I get out of memory and Autochart shuts down.
 :(

I would go to settings and check the size of your internal map.   The bigger it is, the less likely you can add SI images.

If that doesn't work, download the HumViewer application from the web.  You can break up your long recording into sub-recordings.   You can then load those.

you will also get an out of memory message if your SI recording resolution is set to high..middle settings under SI settings is a good compromise

THANK YOU! Both! that helped You should be Customer service employees for Humminbird! THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR A WEEK AND WERE ALMOST INSISTENT IT WAS A LAPTOP ISSUE.  And no solution yet from them. Its really frustrating when CS dont know whats UP.

I think Humminbird needs to spend less time on kicking products out the door and focus more on training fo CS people and get some of the past issues like sonar code resolved. They seem more focused on the new customer than the current one. IMO.
