Using two 898's for temporaty searching
« on: April 05, 2013, 08:30:44 AM »
I've got an 898 up front on my trition on a ram mount and one beside my dash. If i get the interlink and an extra 2 inch ball and power cord, can i hook the interlink to the rear gps antenna and hook the other 898 up to it behind the dash mounted 898 so i can run one on maps and other on side imaging and mark points while having full screen map. Then unhook it and move it back to the front, but i want it to use its on gps antenna on the front.
When in doubt, map it out!

Yes you can but it would be far cheaper to use an Ethernet connection cable and it would work better as well.
