Title: Searching software 5.500 Humminbird 1158cx

Hi!

Anyone who has the software version 5.500 to a Humminbird 1158cx european version out there?

Read an interesting post today in this forum which describe exact the same problem I have.
The sonar picture turns bad when water depth goes 50,0 meters and more.
Clearly software related and the solution is simply loading an older software.

Very gratful if anyone can help me out here,  Humminbird says they havent got older versions available.

Tried a link i found in the thread describing the solution which goes to Navico in France.
Not sure if its working any longer or if English is OK .

Less than 12 hours after emailing Navicom in France and asking for the 5.500 software version they sent me a file with it  :) :) :)

Now we are talking customer service at top-class!!!

Thanks to Codking and others who linked to Navicom, big time!

Cant wait to try this out.
