Title: Work in progress - Portable 997c SI unit ( ~ Gone Towfishing ~ )
Post by: Drifter on June 06, 2011, 07:45:18 AM

My boat is currently down for some reconstructive surgery (fiberglass and paint work). I had a chance to make a run out the Homosassa River with a fellow forum member who was willing to indulge in a little towfishing. It only took about an hour to cobble together a temporary home away from home for my 997c SI.

A few pictures ...

And a link to a brief writeup with more pictures ====> (http://limbatus.net/info/Towfishing/vptm.gif) (http://limbatus.net/info/Towfishing/Towfishing.html)

It was my first time out the Homosassa River and I also got some good pictures of the scenery to go along with getting a good idea of what works in a portable SI unit. Thanks for the trip Doc.

Tight lines,
Darrell
