Yes...you need to call them.  I looks almost like you are using the unit out of the water.  I will be willing to say that it is not your unit but in your transducer or cables.  Good Luck and the folks at cust. service will get you taken care of.

How deep was the water you were in when you made that screen snapshot Jeff?
The unit is showing a water depth of 21.9 feet deep but you have set the Lower Range menu to show only from zero to 10 feet deep (look in the lower right hand corner at the “M” by the lower range number “10”) or is it that the unit is not displaying a bottom reading?  If that is the problem than set the Lower Range menu back to the "Auto" setting.

i did notice that, i have no idea how it changed to M, but i changed it back, didnt help at all, pretty sure its either the Y-cable or the 2D, because it was fine after i unhooked the 2D.

Jeff,

You did change the depth lower limit back to auto?  Please post a screen shot with these changes adjusted.

Basically in the images you posted, you are only zoomed in on the top 10' of the water column so the bottom is not showing.  You could also try setting the lower limit

Thanks,

Robert

not even sure how it got switched ot "M" but i put it back to auto and it still looks just like that screen shot...i sent it back to Humminbird to have it looked at, they said i should send it in, for that and the shallow water issues..

Hey There

Can anyone explain what that 73deg/53deg line is at the top of the screen? I looked all over in my online manual and can't seem to find the answer. thanks,

Tom

That is a water temperature line, 73 / 53 are the upper and lower limits. These will change as the water temp changes. I don't know why they have such a wide variable , but the line in the middle will go up and down as the water temp changes.
