hgv, Is this taken off your 798?  If so curious what settings, sensitivity, fish id, software, etc. you are using? Wheres your ducer mounted? Are you using 2 ducers? Thanks

Interesting that it's in nearly 80' of water....

I'm still agreeing...bait with a few larger predator fish...

(This image is a great tutorial for using Fish ID...those larger fish would never have been detected otherwise)...

We were actually out for a day of wake boarding, and while just floating / relaxing on the water the depth finder started pinging the fish alert. Wish now I had dropped a spoon on them

Could also have been some of the baitfish were more tightly packed than the rest of the school, but being a fisherman I want to believe that they were larger fish!
I’ve seen 2D pics like this along with an Si image where you could see where it looked like larger predator fish were attacking the bait school.
