Selectable Display Colors
Sonar Colors allows you to select which color palette you would like to use for the display. There are eight choices; Standard, Gray, Inverse, Green, Palette 1, Palette 2, Palette 3. (White is the standard Background Color) Background Colors can be changed between White(standard), Blue, and Black.
Tony, I think this is on the express menu..color palette. I think you must be in advanced mode to get to this..
Do you have a paper manual or the disk manual...?

Hi Chuck
I've found the sonar colours - working with this menu only changes the down looking sonar, not the colours of side scan or down imaging.
I have the disc manual, but have downloaded the pdf file to my computer, so I can access it from my desktop.
Been trying to get used to my new unit - at home in simulator mode - I've opened up into "advanced mode" (which I'm not ;) ) but can find no way to alter the DI and SI colours so far.
Appreciate your help ..... Tony

I will have to look some more. It might be for 1100 series....

:o Remarkably, - I've solved my own problem :o
Today, in simulator, I brought up the "view" which showed the screen fully covered by the then amber L&R side scan image - ONE press of the menu key brought up a dedicated menu with SI colours at the very bottom. I can now change the SI colours to whatever is available. 8)
I must admit, - this was after watching the hour+ long Utube video posted on the forum, as an aid to new users. I found this extremely useful.
Found the video here http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/index.php?topic=2143.0 (http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/index.php?topic=2143.0)
Hope this helps other newbies ..... Tony ;D
