Suggested Upgrade:

Explanation:
I would like to be able to scroll back on the system to data that has already left the screen. Even if it was 30 seconds to a minute of old data.

We actually had this in an old LCR product in the 1980’s.  The LCR 4X6 could back up one or two screen widths but very few used it and so it was dropped as a feature after that.  Maybe there are more folks that would use this now.

Definately if it had the capability to mark waypoints farther back in the history...like those other guys... :)

Greg, I know several Lowrance owners that use that feature a lot and wonder why HB doesn't offer the same feature. It would be especially helpful when a fish is being landed and the location has scrolled off the screen during the process and can't be reviewed.
I would think walleye anglers would appreciate that feature also when catching while trolling. Their presentations are usually far from the boat when a hookup occurs. The same goes for the salty anglers.

Good point Wayne P.  Maybe this could be rolled out as a software update this model year (I don’t know if they are even considering this so no one get their hopes up too high).

Greg

A scroll back function regardless of whether you were recording or not would be a great benefit.

Many time when glancing at the screen I have missed something just going off of the screen and would have scrolled back to see it.

To try and review a recording to get to that point would take too long and a waist of fishing time.

I review my recordings on my computer at home, the screen is larger and shows more detail, but when you see something going off the screen then is when you need to see it.

I totally agree with the request.  Too many times I have needed to scroll back. Playback is not an ooption at that time.  Nor is the computer review. But that is what we end up having to do right now..
