Boeing 737 Shots
« on: September 23, 2011, 01:37:03 AM »
Hi everyone, I just found this forum after searching for towed fish.
I have had my HB for quite a  few years now and am finally getting back to thinking about building a towed fish.
Some really great ideas and stories here.
My interest is in finding new dive sites and shipwrecks, a recent lost vessel is the reason for my renewed interest in a TF.
So here is an image I shot on my 737 a few years back that I know you will enjoy seeing.
Also attached is a shot of the Wreck of the Point Grey which you see clearly is upside down and with a broken back.
The interesting thing in this image is the scuba divers bubble rising to the surface in the back ground.
Nice to see you over here Greg, thanks for your help in the past over on the other forum.

Hi 49thdiver

Yes, in this forum you can find a lot solutions about towfish.
Right now I build my own first fish, when he is finished I'll post him.
Was it a accident with the Boeing or was it placed extra there?

We sank the 737 as an artificial Reef 6 years ago, you can find the story on discovery channel "Sinking Wings" or some of the details on my website here : http://www.divemaster.ca/boeingindex.htm
I had some better HB images a few years back but can not find them just now.
I am planning on shooting some more with the Tow fish I just started building yesterday after read some of the posts here.
Some really great idea's, I will be posting pictures etc over in http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/index.php?board=41.0
Anyway here some regular film shots of the plane for those interested, if your up this way give me a shout at divemaster.ca
