Are you talking video or recordings?  Are you trying to get the recording into the pc to make a video?
Humviewer will play back a recording and you can send this to other folks.
Let us know exactly what you are trying to do.

Data with Flash can be copied or transferred (having released a place) on PC as is with preservation of structure of folders and further to look them in HummView and i.e.  As it is possible to copy back the data on Flash and to look at Fishfinder. For example, I look data on 1197 written down on 797.

OK for the recording  you start the recording on your unit and it will put the data on the sd card you have in the slot.  once on the card you can copy to your computer.  Once there you can do a lot with it.
And when humviewer is running it is no end to the limits.

Not sure about the error your are getting on the install.  I have humviewer running on vista. Maybe harry or one of the computer gurus can get a handle on it.
If Robert gets on he will probably have the fix.
I will check around a bit.

Another thought.......have you downloaded the latest java update?  You might have to update that first.   Humviewer may run in 64 bit mode on vista.  so try running a java update.

ok, i finally got the humviewer working....gonna take some time to get use to it.  now in order to get the DI to work i have to change it to quadrabeam? correct. secondly, in the bottom left hand corner it shows a boat as i guess its tracking my position. but it shows nothing but a boat and a colored line.  should there be a map? also, i have google earth 5 and i can't get the two to work correspondily...man im so confused..
still dont understand how anyone can just view my SI video from my chip.  from what i read are you saving that it works on anything? i can't get it too, only if i have the humviewer open does it work. boy i thought i was computer savy.....guess not

also what program are you guys using to view your snapshots? humviewer will not open mine

OK on humview.  make sure you are on version 67.
DI uses the HDSI selection.
To start the playback click on the play box.  to stop click the box again.
On the humview screen look at the top left and click on the box to select the view.  by the grid and wayp.  select the upper left view...  once that is up right click on the screen and select view.  then select down imaging.  DI  not the 2d.  This will get you the DI display.
If you have selected 3 view you will see in the lower left corner the boat track from your recording. no map just a track.    and the right will be the SI.
Recording on the sd makes thre data available to anyone who has a reader and a program. (humviewer, Yellowfin, SIview, Deepview  to name a few.)
In humview you can make a movie ftrom the recording.  Anyone can then view the movie with a standard computer movie viewer.
OK.  where are we now?   let me know.

OK.  good deal.   ;D ;D

Waypoints I will leave for someone else as I dont use them...

Viewing programs on external viewers give you:
1) a larger screen
2) Better color
3) More ability to move around in the recording
4) Better color enhancements
5) Better zoom
6) Better target location or relocation
7) Better depth definition
8) Better screen captures without clogging up your unit or being able to take a scren capture with out stopping the recording process on the unit.
9) For search and recovery a better look at the target.
10)  makes you a pc Geek.  ;D ;D  Just kidding.  needed a 10th item.

Partial screen display is the way the program handles depth  or depth changes.  not really a problem.  It catches up.

Whew.  Keep asking.  I need the typing experience.   ::)

glad to have you here and asking.  you will be up and running like a pro very soon.
Next thing you will be posting pictures.

In the upper right hand corner click the "Utilities" box..under this, click the dropdown arrow.. you will have several options to work with your recording...

Highlight the waypoint feature...then anywhere on your SI screen click a point with your mouse and a waypoint will be created at that exact spot on the recording because all the GPS data from your HB recording is in that recording so the program knows where that exact spot is on the lake by the GPS data ....

When you place your red dot waypoint on the SI screen a box will pop up where you can name the waypoint..

I usually lable mine as R00001b1, R0001b2 ...
"R00001" represents the recording number asigned by the HB unit..
   "b" represents a brushpile
"1" represents the first waypoint in track that I marked in the Humviewer program...

After you have all your waypoints marked on the SI screen thru the entire recording.. Then, in the top right, click on "tools" (I think) and then click on waypoint... a box will pop up where it should list every waypoint you marked in the Humviewer program where you can rename,, delete,, etc.

Then under the same "tools" in the upper left click on "Show in Google Earth"

If you have the correct Google Earth installed on your Pc...Google Earth should open to the aerial photograph on the area of the lake that you made the recording and show all the waypoints that you marked in the Humviewer program...

I'm typing this from memory so bear with me...

No, HumView is just not compatible with the latest versions of GE yet.
