Title: Computer can't find my SD card recording files.
Post by: C. Corner on May 05, 2012, 04:16:37 PM
I tried recording several times and everything appears to work properly on my unit but when I remove my SD card and plug it into my computer it is like there is no file on my SD card.
I have tried HB PC and Hummviewer with no success.  While on the water I can play my recorded video back so I assume I am doing everything correctly and I stopped recording prior to shutting down the unit.

CC when you take the card to your computer and "view" it there should be two files.
1) profile
2) RECORD
If you look at the RECORD there will be 2 files. Or more is you have multiple recordings.
File 1 is  some thing like R000023.dat The other file is a record R00023.
If you look at the record file (R00023)  it will contain 6 files. B001.idx and B001.son thru B003.idx and B003.son...

If you want to look at the recording with humviewer you open humviewer, open the file called R00023.dat. The rest is automatic...
Of course R00023 is just an example. the real file will be sequenced startig with R00001 and up to where you currently are..

It is like there is no information on my card. Maybe it is my SD reader/writer but
as a test I used the same device and card to download photos and it worked.
