Weathersense Extention cable
« on: May 18, 2012, 02:49:16 PM »
I am installing an HB weather sense  and need an extension cable that is a single wire from the y cable to the 1198 unit.  I would like a cable around 18".

Anybody have an idea on the cable I need to order?

George

We don’t make an 18” cable George.  The shortest accessory extension cable that we make is 10 feet long: AS-EC10

It would be nice if Humminbird would make a shorter communications cable or extended the single wire on the communication's "Y" cable.  It is a nuisance to stuff all this cable around the console area. I am trying keep all of my cables away from the electrical panels and breakers as much as possible.

I did get the new cable and installed it, now I just need to stuff it out of the way.
