Title: Side imaging analysing software
Post by: Mathijs on February 28, 2022, 07:57:59 AM
Dear everyone,

I am new to this forum so first: hello everyone.

For my bachelor thesis I am mapping a nearby lake in the Netherlands to map the different kind of substrates and structures present. This research needs is done to analyse if there is enough habitat for a locally endangered fish, the burbot. Making a mosaic with the recordings made is working quite well. The final objective is to have a map were the different kind of substrates and the big structures are charted. Does anybody know if there is software that does this automatically?

Thanks in advance

Greetings,
Mathijs

Hi Mathijs

Welcome to the forum :)

I am not aware of any free analysis software that includes your desired function.

take the SI bytes and do a simple k-means clustering.
