Hi i have a question , i am going to make an towfish for my solix g2 mega.
How long towfish cable can i use before i get image interferance ? (Noise)
What kind of towfish cable is the best to use with the solix and transducer?
Can i use this cable with the solix tranducer?

Is there any waterproof quick connectors i can use on the towfish?

With earlier HB devices already 100m cables were used without problem.
I would take the cable of estockable, the shielding braid is at the same time a good strain relief.
Plugs are just another possible source of error.

I use the destockable ethernet câble 7a on all my towfish, the last use : 100 m with hélix 12 G2, no problem, and now 50 m with an hélix G3...verry good !!! >:D
but on this câble the sheath that surrounds the wires was sensible to cut.
you must take care on jonction seal and do not take a verry small curve or fold it.
this câble is good and no expensive solution if you think change it frequently.
