Title: problems with Helix 9 GN2 after update to software release 2.280

Hi all

After installing the software release 2.280, the transducer of my HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N is not listed and I lost the 1200KHz frequency. When updating, I did follow all the instructions, including resetting to defaults. Any ideas?

There are several reports of updating issues throughout the forums  ...

Contact HB support  ... they will most likely send you an older software version to backdate the unit to previous version  ...

They want me to send the unit back to them... I was hoping that a better DIY solution was available. But these guys don't test the update before releasing it????
