Hi,
I need to install son2xtf on my new computer with Windows 7. But none of the two versions of son2xtf (one is for XP, the other for Vista) is explicitly designed for Windows 7. Which one should I use with Windows 7?

Hi Rickard
Without knowing it, I think you should try using the XP version. Vista needed for all the designated driver, Win7 should be kompatiebel but with XP.

Rickard, Had the same with my new HP dv7-6178 with Windows7.
The only fix I know that works it install Window7 Office Pro and then install the Virtual Add On witch will run XP programs.
I had to do this on each of my new lap tops! $$$$$$$.
It is a pain in the butt to use also.

I have W7 Enterprise and tested with installing the XP version. I got a message the Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1.4322 was needed. I installed it and then son2xtf. Son2xtf works well.
However, SiView doesn't perform well. Some recordings, also old recordings, become 'diagonalized'. I have never seen this before. It's strange that some recordings look normal, some not.
Fortunately, Humviewer installed without problems and show the recordings which were diagonalized in SiView without any distortions.

ADDED: I just discovered the 1.0.0.6 patch for SiView 1.0.0.5. No more diagonalized images, problem solved!!
