I am about to purchase the Humminbird Helix 7 SI / GPS . I will be using the unit primarily in SouthWest Florida coastal waters (not lakes). Is the Navionics+ map compatible with the Humminbird Helix 7 SI? Humminbird customer support says YES it is but on the Navionics website, Navionics+, HotMaps Premium and even Navionics Gold show as incompatible when you select compatibility with Helix 7 SI/GPS. So...
I'm trying to figure out:
1) what is the best compatible map card for me in coastal waters? and
2) where to buy it?
Thanks in advance for any guidance / clarification.
Shows as compatible and matches what Humminbird Cust Support said:

Humminbird site says Navionics plus is not supported. Bob
PS. The Helix 9 and 10 support it. I would call HB to be sure. Navionics put that special line in there for some reason.

Ok, thank you BobCoy. I have an update and new question. Update - Navionics has updated their website and the Navionics + is compatible with the Helix 7 SI. I have purchased both and they work fine together so far (1 month).
Question: How do I turn on the "Sonar Maps" in the Helix 7 unit. I can't find in the manual or google how to do that?

I an digging for the info. You need to set your chart as fish n chip somewhere. I will keep looking.
The FishN'Chip setting is the Chart Select in the Chart tab. You scroll over to the setting that shows the slot the card is in and it will show FishN'Chip Card.
My card is in the left slot so my selection is named "Left FishN'Chip Card".
That is where the Sonar Charts layer will be viewed.( stolen from Wayne P post)
That is if you downloaded the sonar chart portion(separate download from the regular map)
