What data is shared by the InterLink™ system?

Shared Data
Navigation Data
Waypoints & Routes
WeatherSense Data
GPS Signal

Data Not Shared
Wireless Sonar Link Sonar Data
CannonLink information nor operation
Sonar Data
Map Data

How do I select which GPS antenna to use if I have more than one antenna?

Click on the Navigation Tab off of the main menu.  At the bottom of the menu there is an option called “GPS Receiver Override.” GPS Receiver Override allows you to set the GPS receiver to use. These multiple GPS receivers may either be internal, external or connected via the InterLink. If you select Auto, your unit will select a GPS receiver automatically.

The Auto select feature will select a GPS receivers in the following order:

1. InterLink GPS
2. Local External GPS
3. Local Internal GPS
4. Remote External GPS
5. Remote Internal GPS
Options are only shown if the system detects them as present.

Why doesn’t my unit share waypoints?

One of the units in system is not fully participating. For more information see page 20 & 21 of the operations manual.

Why is my WeatherSense data not being shared?

WeatherSense is shared over the Interlink but if one unit is off then everything between that unit and the Interlink are not open options to the second unit, until you turn the first unit back on. It is best practice to put the WeatherSense on the unit that you primarily use.

How do I delete all the waypoints off the Interlink?

1.   Make sure at least one of your units has all of the waypoints stored in it.
2.   Turn this unit off in the Interlink system.
3.   Then using the second unit select the Navigation menu
4.   Then select Delete All Nav Data - this will delete all of the way points from the second unit and the Interlink system.

If you want the two units to match but have no data on the InterLink this can done with the “Export All Nav Data” option under the Navigation tab- Main Menu. For more info on exporting data please see your InterLink user manual.

How do I delete the waypoint off the unit but not the Interlink?

Select the Accessories tab from the main menu and then select InterLink menu.  Select Stop Participation.  Exit from the Interlink menu and then select the Navigation menu from the main menu.  Delete All Nav Data can then be selected to delete all data from just the unit.

If you then want to start participating again go back to Accessories tab-main menu then InterLink- “Start Participating”

Another option would be to unplug the Interlink from the unit you wish to delete waypoints from and select Delete All Nav Data from the Navigation menu.

How do I know which GPS antenna I am using?

Select the GPS Diagnostic View by pressing the view button until it appears on the screen. This information will be located in the box below the sky chart.  See page 19 to 20 of your receiver user manual for additional informatin.

Why can’t I have menus on both unit open at the same time?

This is not permited to prevent data from becoming corrupt.

Example- Waypoint 1 is being modified at the bow by person 1, and then Person 2 at the console thinks he needs to do it too, at the same time. What happens is the system would get confused about what to do.
