Fish attractor symbols on lakemaster
« on: April 26, 2020, 03:18:22 PM »
What exactly does this mean the fish symbol on lake master cards. The site says it means fish attractors I’m just wondering what agency put these out.

I would think that the LakeMaster mapping surveyors take note of any fish attractor buoys while they physically survey a lake for contour depths  ... and those fish attractor buoys would then be included during the data entry for making LakeMaster map products  ...

In my state fish attractor buoys denote artificial structure placed by Fish and Wildlife  ...

I would assume most other states have similar tasks performed by their state Fisheries department  ...

You might contact HB and see if they have contact info for the LakeMaster team  ...
