Title: Onix external GPS compatibility

Wondering why the GPS CI 409110-1 is not compatible with ONIX only with ION
Humminbird website claims only ION

Many retailers claim for both ION and ONIX

Looks like same specs as the as gps hs and no need for additional cable
Anyone knows?
