Hi all,
I have a 997c SI and a 957c that I would like to be able to share way points between the two etc. Just recently I installed the AS Interlink directly to each unit and powered the 997c SI on to find out that the graph tells me it's programming the AS Interlink. So I let it do it's thing for a few minutes and when it was finished I powered it off and back on to make sure it was working as it should. It checked out A OK and was powered off to check the 957c and AS Interlink compatibility.
When I powered on the 957c I get a message that tells me the unit can not communicate with the AS Interlink or something to that affect and that the firmware needs to be updated and this is where my concerns come in to play.
Since the 997C SI is working as it should I don't want to fix what is not broken. I also am having an issue finding a firmware update number for the 957c that matches the firmware loaded to the 997c SI.
At the moment the 997c SI unit has firmware 4.950 loaded and the 957c has firmware 3.520 loaded. Is there a firmware 4.950 for the 957c and if so would that be the best rout to take to try and get the unit to communicate with the 997c SI unit via the AS Interlink?
