Topic: Gps antenna for 898

Can anyone tell me if a humminbird gr4 gps antenna will work on a 898 unit? And what are the differences in the other humminbird pucks or antennas?

I cannot find any documentation indicating if the AS GR4 will work with your 898  ...

I guess you could connect it and see if it shows up in the Connected Accessories view or the GPS Diagnostic view  ...

With the AS GR4 being such an older item - if would most likely not be as effective as the newer GPS antenna Accessories  ...

I use the high speed GPS antenna mounted on the bow. Works flawlessly.

PS I have a 899 on the console it is using a older GPS antenna with no problems. I forget just what model it is. But I know its at least 6-7 years old now.
