i use humviewer to play back my side scans, its a great piece of software, however i have noticed when recording at sea on the 1198 i see more detail than when i pay it back at home is that because its on a bigger screen, can i get better images by changing some thing

I think it's limited to a resolution of the HUMMINBIRD standard itself, so that viewed from a larger monitor (HD) is not for the better.

i use deepview, convert dat file with HBSI and play back in deep there's a good resolution
drdepht is good
you can use also yellowfin
find lot of soft in download section on forum.

Hi,

I use also Humviewer for most playbacks.

But if I search something I also convert the data with son2xtf to .xtf file and look at it with deepview, I think deepview has more detail.
