NMEA & RAYMARINE SPORTPILOT 1000
« on: March 29, 2011, 03:12:28 PM »
Hi guys,

I have the above autopilot which does not have its own heading sensor just takes GPS signal.  The Pilot function is working fine and I can go in a straight line and adjust left and right as required.  The Track function on the raymarine is not working so when I select goto on my humminbird I can no longer hit track on the raymarine to follow the track on the GPS or a route that alarms at each turn and needs confirmation on the autopilot remote.

There is obviously some data going to the Raymarine otherwise Pilot would not work.

Any suggestions what to check ??  This is a more irritating problem than crucial.  >:(

Many Thanks
