Topic: SI not happening on right side

As you can see in the pics, my transducer is located on the port side. I am not getting good readings on the starboard SI at all. When I trim the big motor up high, nothing changes.

Is the livewell screen and tube to blame? Would stacking another mounting board eliminate this problem? Any other thoughts greatly appreciated!

If this still happens even with the motor off and in the trailered position than I would suspect the livewell screen.  Stacking the transducer boards is a good way to get by this.

Take a look at this pic...Do you think I should move the transducer lower towards the "V"?  It looks like I can move it pretty easily by installing other board, thus helping to eliminate the screen issue?

If obstacles are not a problem I would lower it.  You will get much better right side SI.  however high speed may introduce cavitation.

Chuck is right.  Also consider that there is a trailer bunk just in front of where the transducer would be if you moved it to the right.  This could cause damage to the transducer if you load the boat a little to ‘hard’ one day as the transducer may end up hitting the end of the bunk.

Although not as bad as yours, My left side is a little weak but I do get an imaging.  I took my screens off with no help.  I'm planning on adding a small board to move my exducer out another 1/2 inch or what ever the board thickness is.  These xducers must be very sensitive to the items at the sides.
