Title: HT File Format Question
Post by: GoldenDawn1 on May 27, 2012, 01:31:26 AM
Today was day one with my new 1198c SI and I was able to smoke test on the water. I was able to save track files to the SD card and then download them with Humminbird PC. I was really surprised that the fix points did not include a time stamp - only lat, lon and depth.

I am wondering how I can correct for tidal height without the time, other than using the NMEA data out with the NMEA sentences. Am I missing something? Is it possible to get the fix points tagged with time in the HT files?

There is date and time information for every waypoint.

In Humminbird PC, grab the upper right edge of the window with your cursor and widen the window. You're not seeing the last column.

Doc,
It is the track file fix points that I would like to have times for. I double checked and the recorded track points do not seem to have times. I checked both the SD card and in the HumminPC (see attached screen captures).
