Here is a Switchfire screenshot of a giant school of 3 to 4 pound Coho Salmon from this spring - south end of Lake Michigan. We caught 38 fish that day. (we kept our limit for the grill but released the rest). Yes, fish are arches (with Fish ID off).

Interference on sonar view
I have a solid band of interference from 0 to 2.5 ft, whether the motor is raised or completely down. It is due to the wide beam (83 kHz) and goes away when that beam is turned off. The down and side-imaging views look fine.
I'd appreciate any thoughts. The transducer installation picture is here…
