After a few years of not using Autochart (AutoChart Pro 2.3) I installed on a new windows 11 Pro and saw similar issues. The worldmap was not present and when I searched the drive there was no WorldMap folder anywhere. I had downloaded the install file from the hummingbird website so I wouldn't need to hook up a CD drive. Just to be sure I pulled out my old original installation CD and reinstalled. That does install the worldmap and I also found this started showing the lakemaster background maps for my existing autochart files (*.acd) when I load them, so it appears the two installs are not identical.
Just to be clear I also had the issue of not seeing the map when importing data or loading a *.acd file, but could see a map if I switched to one of the non-Lakemaster map sources (ie. USGS,

Most informative, thank you. I will go through the transducer swap, do not want to risk my Helix for this.

The 2d piezo in the XNT 9 DI T is tuned for 200kHz/455kHz ...
The HELIX 9 Sonar unit transmits 200kHz/83kHz for 2d ...
Setting the Beam Frequency under the Sonar tab to 200kHz only will allow use of the XNT 9 DI T but I’ve never tried it to see what the results would be ...
It shouldn’t damage anything ...

XNT-9-DI-T currently installed on boat. Would connecting my Helix 9x Sonar GPS (2D-only model) to this fry the head unit or would simply use the 2d portion of the transducer? Humminbird compatibility chart says not compatible. Looking at the pinout diagrams, it shows the DI pin separate, other pins same as 2D.
Just trying to avoid a transducer swap if possible.

Installation manual says “as close to the battery as possible” ... https://humminbird-help.johnsonoutdoors.com/hc/en-us/articles/9216210775831-In-line-Fuse-InstallationSOLIX 10 and 12 =5amp SOLIX 15 = 7.5amp Rickie

I did find slo blo (tube type) fuses, so if I can use them, that's better Yes?? But a regular 5a for the Solix 12 and a 7.5a for the 15, will work, Yes? Do you recommend putting them closer to the unit or to the battery? Sorry for all the questions but I'm just trying to do this as right as I can. Really appreciate you guys and this site.

Wanted to know if slo mo fuses are necessary on the 12 n 15 Solix?
While slo blow fuses are recommended, I’ve never found a reliable source for getting them ... Correct size fuse as indicated in the installation manual would be more important ... Rickie

On the "AutoChart Tutorials & Manuals" thread that CamoHunter just posted....the link to "Autochart: How to Import Data & Create a Map" shows the tutorial that came with autochart. Importing .ht files. I've worked through that tutorial and created the Minnesota lake. But when I open my SD card after creating 6 maps yesterday, I only have 1 .ht map. (000.ht) I should have 6 more. When I try to create a map with the 000.ht file it seems to want to create the map in the area I have the simulator setup at on the helix.

I just got my autochart pc yesterday. I went out to the lake today and created several small maps side by side. When I got back home I didn''t have any .ht files on my zerolines card. My menu on my helix showed that it's save location was card 1. My zerolines card was in the card 1 (left) slot.
