Title: Shoot thru transducers, XP-9-20 v/s XAP-9-20
Post by: COLBOB on August 17, 2012, 05:41:54 PM
Are these the same transducer except that the XP-9-20 has a flat bottom and the XAP-9-20 has a slanted bottom?    All information says we need to use the XP-9-20 for 2D but wouldn't the XAP-9-20 fit the curve of the hull better if their both the same?  Or doesn't it make any difference?

The XP and XAP transducers are electrically/acoustically the same, just come in different shaped housings is all.
