Title: latest 1197c SI update

Hey guys,
can someone please upload the latest 1197c SI update for me ?
I'm currently running 4.8 or something on my unit and want to update it.

If i login to Humminbird website and choose "my account" i'm asked to login, after i do i'm getting redirected to product search. If i'm clicking again on "my account" i'm asked to login again (weird!). I tried both, Firefox + IE.

If someone just can upload the update for me please ?

Btw: running my new unit on 3rd trip now havin verry good experiences. Lovely device. Pics following soon.

I was having the same problem on the Humminbird site but emptied the cache in my browser and it now goes straight to the update page after logging in to "My account". You can also direct your browser in "preferences" to download the update to the Humminbird SD card if you have it in your PC or laptop.

Thanks for reply. I already tried to do this. I even started Firefox in privacy mode or however its called in english, no change here.  :'(

I think that I just posted the 5.430 software for the 1197 in the downloads section (well I loaded something onto the web site).  Hope it works okay for you.

Del,  just a cautiion but if you plan on interlinking any accessories in the future, keep a copy of your downvalue code.
Sometimes these things do not work well together.
Make sure you have a backup copy of the current code in case the upgrade does not go as planned.
Robert has most code in the dowload section so you should find needed copies there..

good advice mate, and i'll follow it. also i'm currently not sure if i would like to upgrade to 5.4
can someone also upload 5.2 please ?


I would get in real troubles with a unit falshed-to-death.

There is no 5.2 software update for the 1197 units.
I did upload the 5.320 software update file for the 1197 units though as this is as close as we have to a 5.2 version software.

Del when you log in to HB support under your name and password DO NOT HIT ENTER IT WILL DIRECT YOU TO PRODUCT SEARCH EVERYTIME click on there login box then your updates will come up. Hope this helps. Gary

Unbelieveable how simple it is to solve some big issues :)

I'm now skipping 5.4 to avoid any problems and installing 5.5
