788ci hd di mapping issue

my understanding is that they come with a pretty good mapping system built in
my issue is that my home lake does not exist on my unit been meaning to call them
but there hours are problematic for me my home lake is eagle mountain lake in tx
there is no out line is just show land i have updates to version 6.25
no help there hoping someone could clue me in on what i might be doing wrong
or if is the unit oh the lake is old impounded 1930's so its not like its a new lake
any help would be appreciated

Not all lakes on on there.  I have some lakes I go to that aren't on mine or my Navionics chip.  Just land...

The lake you are looking for is on the Navionics South chip.

i get that it may not on there list of countour lakes but it should have atleast a outline or something marking it
it is a very well known lake in tx anyway not a small pond

You could just import the outline drawn in Google Earth to your unit.
Pretty easy to do and better than nothing.

If the lake was not in the map data that we bought, than it isn’t going to show up.  It cannot be added either.  The only way to get it to show up would be by using a map card.
