Robert, I tried using the converter on data recorded on my 1199ci HD SI and got this error. The new unit is running SW ver. 6.840.

Do you think this newer firmware is the crux of my problem?  BTW, I'm running 1.1.0.1 vers. of the converter.

Your post says: HBSI Converter - Download *New Release 1.1.2 but when you DL and install it's version 1.1.0.
Are we missing something ?
