I am considering buying one of these units soon. I wanted to know is there a quadrabeam transducer (for trolling motor) made for this unit? And does the unit require also having a separate DI transducer? I believe there is a shoot thru model QB made, but I have an aluminum boat, and don't know if that would work or not.

No, the DI model units will not work with a QuadraBeam transducer.
A Humminbird shoot through the hull (inside-the-hull) transducer is not recommended for aluminum hulled boats.
