Title: Ice transducer for a 688CI HD DI?

I would like to use The 688CI HD DI for ice fishing but cannot find a transducer that will work from the humminbird Website. They list the XL 9 20 for all 600 units except the DI. Has anyone use that transducer with that unit and how does it work?

The 688ci HD DI transmits 200kHz/455kHz 2d  ...

The ice xducers utilize 83kHz/200kHz 2d  ...

While the 688 DI can be set to 200kHz only it may not give optimal results with the Ice xducer  ...

Humminbird could give more info  ... 1-800-633-1468
