Title: Mounting hdsi transducer on a skeeter

I put an 1197 on the dash of a 2002 2050 skeeter.The problem is the boat started to list to the lport side and the dealer thinks that it's the transducer doing it.if it is the problem i'm thinking of putting in a high speed ducer the problem then is where can i put the down and side transducer?? any thoughts wiill be appreciated

Really?  do you know what boat or ship   "LIST" is?  Why would your boat "list" to port side? Do you have a heavy weight on the port side?  If you boat is "listing" to port side, it has nothing to do with a sonar transducer!

I will say that the boat was leaning to the left or port side when under throttle

High performance hulls benefit from a shoot thru XP 9 20 (along with the AS SIDB Y cable) ...

Then mount the HDSI on the jackplate with an aftermarket bracket such as the Transducer Shield and Saver ...

If there's no jackplate - mount the HDSI higher on the transom for low speed idle scanning ...

Thanks rnvvinc I had only aluminum boats and never had a problem now with the setback i'm lost but with your help will get this on track much appreciated
