Title: Onix side imaging favorites setup question

Setting up Onix SI and know i can go into a sub menu and look at either right side or left side only on side imaging but is there a way to save  a one side view to favorites where I can have a favorite for left side and have a favorite for right side so i dont have to keep drilling down the menu to get this view?

No, there is no way that I know of to be able to do this.  The left or right Si sonar is a menu setting, not an individual View setting.

Greg, one hour sitting in boat in garage I was able to get right side only and left side only side imaging saved to favorites, started new chart and turned off both global setting, went into preferences and selectef one side only and was able to save to favorites

Well-I'll-be-dog.
I could never get it to remember it before.  Not sure if this was a software change or just me not selecting Off for all the global settings.

In the same vein as that.
Is their anyway to turn off/on contour mode for side imaging on the onix so I can get a "Truer" distance to waypoint due to slant range?

Not sure what you are asking here Brunswick.  Yes you can turn on or off the Contour mode in the ONIX units.
