This is yet another added question to my inquiry about the pinched/severed transducer cable. I have peeled back the insulation on the cable and revealed multiple colored wires (six in total I Think, is that the CORRECT amount, or did I miss a color?). Can some one tell me what these colors (red, black, orange, purple, yellow and brown) control? I did find that brown and purple are Drain/ground for right n left SI channels. Just curious what the other ones are responsible for. Thanks again..

That is the MEGA SI xducer ... I have not disected a MEGA DI cable yet ...
Beings as your wires are cut anyway - just test ohms from each wire to each pin until you build your own pinout diagram ...
You can definitely use the PIN number designations in the diagram I posted above - the pin designations do not change position across the HB xducers (although the wire colors going to those pins may change) ...

Ok Rickie I peeled back further on outer sleeve and here's what I've got. The wires are black, orange, red, brown, yellow and purple. Plus there's a silver wire with no covering which looking at the diagram you gave is what's called the drain/ground. When I first saw this I wasn't sure what it was because it had no cover but now with your diagram I see it. Hopefully It will go ok, if not live and learn. Thanks for the helpful info.

Your HELIX 7 MEGA SI G3N comes with the XNT 9 HW MSI 150 T ...
The wires may follow the older color coding ...
