OK, after some searching and conversation here is some light on hooking up your pc to a unit for normal processes and for the use of the "bootstrap" recovery.
1) the current AS PC2 cable is used to mate a pc serial port to a HB unit.
2) The AS USB allows newer computers without serial ports but with USB hubs to connect thru a AS PC2 cable
......(USB to 9 pin DB to 9 pin DB to a unit connection.)
3) The newely announced AS PC3 cable replace the above arrangement with a single USB to Unit connection.
The picture of the AS PC3 on the HB accessories tab is the wrong picture. They slipped up and used the old AS PC2 picture.
No date on availability of the AS PC3.... :-[
