Shoot thru hull transducer location on Skeeter 20I
« on: June 26, 2010, 11:19:51 PM »
The installation instructions for the high speed transducer states that you should put the boat in the water and go thru a series of tests to determine the best location for the transducer.  I know that the bilge area is the best place for it. On my boat, and I would guess on many similar bass boats, the bilge area is very small. Is is OK to just mount it this area?  :)

Yes, the bilge is where you would want to mount it.  At high speeds thats pretty much the only part of the hull still touching the water! ;D

Please post some installation pictures of your boat in the Image Gallery when you get a chance.

Good Luck,
