Title: lakemaster maps

I want to buy a lakemaster map for my humminbird 998csi. If i place it in the unit on the console will it also show the same information on the 998 mounted on the trolling motor? They are connected by ethernet cable.or do i need a card for each unit?

You need a card for each unit......They don't have to be the same...Sometimes there are advantages to Lakemaster and other times Navionics has better info.

Right now, the ONIX / ION are the only units that can share map data.
