Will the subject transducer work on my 997?

I might be wrong on this but a few years ago I bought a 899, and it had that transducer in the box. they were trying to lower the prices of some of the core units so the option was to up graced to the HD ducer. That one is over 200 bucks. So I think you will be ok.

The XNT 9 20T is a transom mount 2D transducer.  It will work with a 997.  What model 997 do you have?

You would have to change the selected transducer if it is a SI unit .... and you would not have SI.  Or use it as a skimmer transducer.
