You may want to E Mail Jeff@ Navionics.  I would like to see him make some postings on this forum.

How is this any different than the 1 foot "HD" depth contour maps that they have on the Premium HotMaps now?

Greg

I do not think it is any any different then the 1 ft "HD" contours.  It is just another look.  Also as far as I know these also not have contours under 6 ft.  Personally I would like to see more discussions on all the mapping cartography including Navionics to help us better learn how to get the most out of these units.

My biggest disappointment is that Navionics has not taken the time to write manuals on their cards, some how we are supposed to automatically know how to use them.  It takes a lot of trial and error to learn the systems.  If it was not for forums like this the learning curve would be slow and I doubt that the innovations that HB is making would not come as fast.  Through these forums they can see our hot buttons.

George,
We seem to find more about how the Navionics cards work in our products through these forums than from Navionics.  For instance we did not know that they did not include depth data in less than six feet until we started seeing messages about this…
