I am trying to map my local lake. The humminbird world map shows my lake without an island in the center of it. when i use the data from the lkmaster zeroline card an island appears, where none exists. I have tried to clear this island from the map using the clear area command but this has no lasting effect on the data other than destroying my imported data. Any ideas on how to delete this non-existent island??

i had similar problem with error on background shoreline that i drew then imported as the lakemaster shoreline was innacurate
...called support,,
and i ended up deleting the AC file from the zerolines card and starting all over with new data/map on zerolines card
from what i can see u can edit data on the pc with in the program but once its written to the card i dont think u can edit it??
perhaps greg or somenone else can chime in with comments

dave thanks for the response. the island came into my pc from the zeroline card before any mapping was done...i.e. before a ac folder was created

looks like this is another case of an inacurate background for the shoreline....you could draw your own on GE and then import to the autocharts ,as i did because of the inacuracies...
see the tutorial in the AC software ..not that difficult i think i just imported a KML
