Title: Onix auto chart internal storage
Post by: Wallin8r on May 29, 2015, 06:43:48 PM
I know the onix has 4 hours of internal storage for auto chart, but can you delete some or all of it to continue using internal storage without having to save it to the zero lines card?

I plan on getting auto chart or auto chart pro but haven't decided yet. Does anyone have any opinions? One over the other.

Thanks for your input

Can't help with the Onix except to say if it is data you will want to keep, I would save it to the card.

I would go for the Pro version of Autochart ..... Sometimes bottom hardness is a key factor.....Not sure how much I would use the SI mosaic without playing with it some.

The internal memory for AutoChart Live data is 8 hours of recording ...

This is from the HB FAQ ...

Your ONIX or ION Series product has enough memory to record up to 8 hours of data.  These 8 hours are a free trail of the AutoChart Live feature.  These files cannot be deleted once recorded.  Once the 8 hours of data have been used, you must purchase a Zero Line Map card to continue recording additional lakes or areas of your lake.

I have not actually used my 8 hours yet to determine what happens next ...
