Mounting 998 on another boat
« on: August 08, 2011, 03:50:47 PM »
I have a 998 mounted in my boat, but I fish with a partner in his boat a lot of the time.  I would like to be able to move my 998 easily back and forth.  What do I need, besides the SI ducer and power head?  Thanks

Besides the XHS-9-HDSi-180-T transducer, you will need:
 - a Power Cable (PC-11)
 - a (540165-2) 900 Series Connector Collector
 - a GPS Receiver (AS-GR50) unless you figure out some way of mounting the one you have now to the unit mount.

If you don’t use some sort of a removable mount you will also need:
 - a unit mount (GM-2)
